It's been a couple of years since we had the Swap a yard of Fabric Swap, here's the most recent one I could find: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=344564.0

Would people still be interested in this? Is shipping too expensive now? I would probably want to limit it to the US, which I hate to do but shipping internationally from the US is so expensive now.

Let me know!

That looks pretty cool. I dont know how much "yardage" I have but I know there are some lurking FQs and pieces I could cut down to FQ size if that is still going to be okay. I hear ya on the international shipping...I love all of our international members, but we are a little tight on money right now. Sad My other problem is I have NO idea how to tell if my fabrics are 100% cotton...cotton blend...polycotton blend...etc. I know I have some type of cotton, corduroy, and some cool orange stuff that I bought from the remnant bin that didnt have a label on it. I actually have yardssss of it, but I dont know if its a knit or what. Its def not cotton as it has a slightly lighter weight and more "silky" feel so to speak. I'll be keeping an eye on the thread anyways. Smiley

The original swap required that you have at least 8 different fabrics to list and more in case no one picked what you originally posted. It's ok to not know 100% what a fabric is but it is nice to have a good guess.

I'd be interested in this! A quilt shop near me went out of business and you had to buy then entire bolt. I ended up with some amazing fabric, but way too much of some things!

<just an aside from an international swapper> from what i hear sometimes it can actually be cheaper to ship internationally, you dont need to pay for tracking numbers. but if your decision is US only... ill stop watching this one.

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

This might have been true before January 27th, but unfortunately they just increased prices by ALOT, in many cases it has doubled. I have an etsy shop that sells vintage patterns and it now costs me almost $9 for one pattern internationally,to anywhere except canada. The same pattern within the US is less than $2. I use online shipping, so I don't pay for tracking numbers.

I know this sucks, I really don't want to exclude people, but I know I can't afford to ship internationally for an ongoing swap like this.
