(Alleycat.rm's) Dream Craft Room

okay, i really hope this is okay...i'm posting this for my sister, alleycat.rm.  she had to work tonight and we don't have internet access, so i said i'd go over to our dad's and post it for her.  she really wanted to get this posted so i'm sorry if it's not okay! 

all right...when i told her about this challenge, the first thing she said (and what i thought of also) was "oooh...a craft store!!  NO!!  a craft ROOM!!"  so that's what she did.  She took a bunch of scraps and stuff we had laying around the apartment and this is what she came up with:

of course, it had to be done in pink.  she's especially proud of the quilt on the bed (which is made out of a mini cereal box)....now she wants to make a real quilt with those fabrics!    and notice the "Craftster Rocks" poster. <shameless promotion>

she also wanted to put some things in there that she had learned on Craftster, so she made a clock out of a bottle cap and the little purple dress was one she had made a long time ago for a card swap.

and of course the knitting on the bed and the little painted hatboxes.

the only thing it doesn't have that she wanted was a little kitten sitting on the bed.  because craftsterers are notorious for having cute little pets!!

**Edited:  oh! i forgot to say that it is made out of a shoe box on it's side and sitting in the lid, then spraypainted white.  and the disco super ball was my idea!

OMG I Love it!  I was going to try to do an entry for this contest, and it was going to be MY craft room!  But I didn't have the time.  This came out wonderfully!  I like the idea of adding actual craftster projects.  Nice job!

It looks like a magazine cut out?  I think, lol.

It's so awesome.  The colors are great... and the detail with the flip flops, rug, accessories & wall decor is too fun.  Ohh..and the yard stick!  Fab.. Kudos to your sister!
