My sister-in-law gets silk and linen scraps from the frame shop she works in. They are usually fairly small, but beautiful. I made these note cards with silk scraps, linen scraps, lace scraps, curls of paper and hand written words of love, joy and peace.

I stitched them to a paper card stock. Very quick and easy and it was fun to lay out the different designs. I may make more for holiday gifts.
