I knit my nephew some mittens before he was born in a pretty cotton, kind of forgetting that cotton doesn't stretch or hold its shape all that well. The ribbing stretched out, so they kept falling off. So i made him a pair in some leftover Bamboo Ewe i had.

I had Frankenstein in mind as i knit, but now all i can see are reverse eggplants.
They work much better than the cotton ones.

Can i knit you something in seed stitch? I'd love to swap you for: handspun yarn, hand carved banana stamp...

This is a great idea! Since I crochet, asking for a tutorial wouldn't really help, but I can see how to build it upside down, so maybe I'll whip up a few for some new babies this Christmas!

Thanks! I would think crocheting these mitts would be just like crocheting a teeny tiny hat. Haha. If you make any, i hope you post pictures.
