Pretty!   Cheesy

Are you going to wait to open til the 1st or just wait to post opened pics?   Smiley   I don't think I could wait to open!    Grin   But I can wait til the 1st to post pics since that is what we're doing (right?).

BTW... I have no guesses yet as to who sent that.    Smiley   Although I have narrowed it down to a couple different possible options.    Cheesy

Here are my unopened gifts! I'm going to hold off as long as I can to open them... it's especially fun to pick up and squeeze them and guess what they are. I think I already know what two things are! I definitely can tell I was spoiled. Thanks secret santa!

I won't be opening or posting photos until after I get back from a conference (Dec 7-8 most likely). But here are the unopened goodies!

Well, I'll be brave and get this party started here since its after the 1st now.   Cheesy

I opened my presents and here is what was in them!   Smiley

First my secret santa knew that I adore chickens and so she embroidered two chicken themed hooplas for me.   Cheesy   These were her first embroidery projects!  I wouldn't have known that if she hadn't told me in her note.

http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/aa366/glitterbirdart/STS2012-2.jpg

She did a great job on the stitching!   Smiley

Then she made me some paper gift tags I can tape to packages from some gift tags she found online.  She tweaked the colors so that it had my fav color in there.   Smiley   I love the little birdie ones especially!   So cute!   Smiley   And the "Peace, love and Reindeer hugs" made me laugh.   Smiley  The other tags are all very cute or funny too.  They will be fun to use on presents this year.   Smiley

And then she sent a pack of Christmas cards which will come in handy this year.   Smiley

Thank you so much for everything, secret santa!    Smiley

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to reveal who she is yet though so I'm going to keep who she is a secret until I hear that its ok to reveal who she is.   I'll edit this post later once its ok to tell.   Smiley

Underthemountain told me it was ok to post the identity of my secret santa.   Smiley

Nice package, Avesthal!  I have been thinking about posting pictures since I got home on Saturday, but I have been catching up on my sleep.  All I've done is eat, sleep and watch tv with my mouth hanging open.  I did go swimming this morning, but came home and slept for 3 hours after I ate breakfast.  sigh.  I'll get caught up soon.  Without further ado, I'll share my pictures.  I was SO spoiled!!!!!!!!!!!

To start, my SS was a great stalker and found out I loved cracked marbles!  She made this nifty wire-wrapped pendant:

She's a rockin' jewelry maker!  Not one, but three sets of crocheted beaded necklaces and earrings.  I did not do a very good job capturing their rockin'-ness!  I hope my SS will post better pictures!

Shawl pin!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gorgeous dragonfly earrings!  These are awesome!  Wish you could see them in person!

I love everything in this package, but this is my favorite thing:

I am a blue heron fan and I love this little painting!

Speaking of paintings, three little birdies grace the cover of a beautiful handbound journal:

You should have been here when I opened this next thing:

I screamed, She gave me a copy of "Knit your own dog!"  Imagine a large older woman jumping up and down, squeeing, with her little jack russell jumping around in community with her girl.  Cheesy  It had to have been a sight.  I can't wait to knit my dog!  Cheesy

Crochet medallions for an afghan I'm planning.  I have collected quite a few of these now!

Everything was wrapped in fabric (YIPPEE!!!) and she sent me chocolate!!!
   YUM

This package made my day on so many levels.  SS, you are someone special!

Wonderful goodies!!  Really love the chicken hoop and the amazing jewelry!!

Ok folks!  Be prepared to drool over my amazing SS package.  Sadly, I can only show you my portion.  Lana has decided to wait a bit longer before opening up her goodies.  But she was a good model so I can't complain.  Smiley

First here is Lana enjoying all the goodies before we dig in!

We loved the sewn felt ornament that our SS got for us from a craft fair!

Now on to opening up gifts!  Eek!  First is a lovely cowl straight off of my Pinterest!  LOVE!

Next a lovely tote (again off of my Pinterest!)

Then a great embroidery pattern...could this be a poke from my SS because several years ago she claimed me in OWS for embroidery towels and patterns.  Guilt.  I still haven't picked up a needle to give it a try.

And finally an amazing kitchen set--mitt, scrubbie, matching towel, and adorable cupcake holder -- all done in the most adorable science owl print.  LOVE!!

And now all of it together so that you can ooh and aah with me!

Thank you SS!!!  We loved everything!!!

Lana still hasn't opened her gifts, but you can see that she has an adorable hand embroidered ornament on her package.  Smiley  I'll post pics of her goodies as soon as she opens them.  Smiley

Cute science owl fabric and I love the cowl!    Cheesy   I'm pretty certain I know who your SS is!   I recognize something in the photos.  Wink

I also revealed my secret santa's identity in my earlier post with the photos.    Cheesy

Great packages! A2K, you will have to post a pic after you knit your own dog Smiley

I just got back from travel at 1 am, and haven't opened anything yet. But tonight I plan to go and get a tree, so I will open and take pics then!

So I fell off the face of the internet for a bit, there. Just celebrated my birthday all last weekend and worked like mad this week.

Without further ado, my fabulous package is as follows!

Everything still all wrapped!

First thing I unwrapped was the largest! Obvious choice!

A ruffle pillow!!! Just like I had on my pinterest (and wish list swap list!). I swear my partner stalked me so well that this color EXACTLY matches my bedsheets! It's like she was IN MY ROOM. Hah.

A felted owl mug rug! Brilliant! Already in use!

Two little pouches. I'm already using the zippered one as a first aid/tampon clutch for when I work at school. They're so cute!

I might put my camera in the other one.

So cute here's a second photo:

A rice bag! WITH OWLS. I love owls. And foxes. A+ on the stalkerage.

The pillow was wrapped in this lovely fabric! I have some rough plans for it, but haven't the nerve to cut it yet

Two grocery bags! I've used both and gotten compliments on both already!

These are wonderful and so durable and PRETTY

Reusable "paper" towels! These are straight off my wish lists too!

I can't accurately express in words how excited I am/was to receive all these goodies, so that's why this post is in half all-caps. Trying to express my excitement, but really, I couldn't be happier!

My partner was:

ptarmic wumpus!! Thanks again so much for a wonderful package and for being an excellent stalker! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

You're welcome Ptarmic!! Smiley  I love Kahlua in his hat!  Smiley

Oh, and the roving was dyed by Loves2experiment--I got it from our winter sts swap.  Smiley I had a blast making the artichoke print...haven't done any lino blocks in quite a while. Let me know if you want artichoke cards!  Smiley  Lana just had to get in on the crafting fun!  Smiley

Lana opened her gifts from A2K on Christmas eve!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c29/atsuko2005/DSC04575.jpg
She receive a great story of Iron Hans and a neat shape your own vase kit.  She loved the story and said that it was very similar to Iron John.  She had fun making the vase and reshaping it over and over in the warm water
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c29/atsuko2005/DSC04576.jpg
A2K also made Lana this lovely little stitched ornament which Lana put on our tree straight away.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c29/atsuko2005/DSC04578.jpg

Thanks for the fantastic goodies A2K!!

Thanks to all of you for participating in our swap!!  I just finished doing the feedback so please check and let me know if there are any problems.
