Ooh first!  Smiley  My partner was mom2em & here is the package of goodies she sent me James...

My son just turned two and what I said I would like most is things to entertain him in the car.  He is very go go go active & getting him to take car rides is a bear.  And we would really like to drive to my parent's house next month, which is a couple states away, and frankly I am dreading it.

Anyway, mom2em sent a variety of activities to keep him entertained.  There are lacing cards (he LOVES cars & ducks), and a little travel mat that you can color on with dry erase crayons (with a little erasing cloth).  It is hard to see in the picture, but there is a little felt mask that was on my Pinterest as well.

She also sent some laminated sheets for playdough activities with some playdough (the baggie burst - oops - but somehow it didn't get on anything whew), such as sculpting dough faces.  This one will probably stay in the house lol.

And then she sent some laminated activity cards, which will be great for the car, including I Spy.

Thanks, mom2em!

Received today from Donniesgirl.

I received 3 things from my pinterest for my daughter, Abigail.

Onesie dress (and some blank onesies incase I get creative lol), pillow cushion seat, pillowcase w/handle and pocket for travel.  Love the owl and sock monkey prints.

We love everything, thank you!

I borrowed a couple of things from your Pinterest to make for J too mom2em lol!  I made a blue sock monkey version of the travel pillowcase.  And I am working on the cushion in an Eric Carle rubber ducky theme that I'm going to give to him for Christmas with that book.  I might do a Brown Bear Brown Bear one for one of my friend's daughters too. Or Berenstain Bears... I like these booked theme ones (I'm a bookworm, I admit).

The onesie dress was fun.  If I'd had more time, I was going to do a garden gnome one too.  Smiley

I recieved from mini_mum the other day and we got lots of goodies to show off!!

First, I will show the extras, there is an empty packet of chocolate there but there was more, it just didn't make it to the pic.  Theres also bath crayons, cool cupcake liners and picks, and a cookies for Santa kit!!

Then Ethan got some awesome write-off pages.  She laminated them and included dry erase markers so he can practice his letters and shapes!!!  So perfect for him.

There was also some number matching magnets.  They have numbers and items to counts to match them up!!  Great for Daysie and Ethan.

And the cutest little knit cardigan!!! Heres Daysie modeling it with some yummy chocolate on her face, heehee

Thank you so much mini_mum!!! I hope your package gets there soon!!!!

HEHEHE - like the empty wrapper!! (I got Miles one of those as well, but he thought 'chocolate horrible, mummy!' guess he didn't like the 'popping' candy)
So glad the cardigan fits - I did kinda measure it up against Scott (he's about the same age) so was hopeful!

Was hoping I might get something from the postie today, but no, so fingers crossed for Monday.

I received a wonderful parcel from mam24boyz today. I apologize for the blurry shots, but trying to catch the shots without a flash and with 2 boys who are never still is tricky to say the least Smiley

First up - 2 pirate hats! I'm doing a pirate party for Miles on Feb so these are fab - apart from the fact that Miles loves playing pirates, and they both wanted to wear them today. (Miles even wore his to the post office this afternoon, instead of a woolie hat, despite it being subzero outside!)

Then there was the fishing game, with 4 fish, 1 rod and a pond for the fish to swim in (and Miles with his pirate hat!):

Scott wanted to pick them up (he had one in his hand here, but you can't really see it) and thread the washer onto the rod instead of 'fishing'

There is also a postbox (Canadian style I'm guessing) with letters and postcards to post. I haven't taken photos of that yet, but will do and will get them up asap

Thank you SO much mama24boyz - what a wonderful package Smiley  Cheesy

Yesterday for the apocalypse the power in our part of town went out! Yay! Ha ha. Happily the suck from not having internet or a way to cook was alleviated by receiving my FANTASTIC package from dreadlady! I've been seriously spoiled. <3 <3 Thank you so much, I'm so in love with everything. We move in 2 weeks so I'm itching to get these goodies up in our Dr. Who themed nursery. Smiley

She sent a painted plaque of the TARDIS. It was a terribly overcast day and with no power I didn't have the best lighting so you can't see the glittery background very well.

Matching the background, she also painted a set of hanging picture frames. I'm going to use a TARDIS blue ribbon to hang it up, and I've already found and cut pictures of my brother and sisters to fill it with. My siblings all live across the country and I was wanting to put pictures of them up in the nursery for the babe to see. This is so perfect!

Check out the detail on the colorwork! It's really beautiful and reminds me of deep space imagery of galaxies.

She printed out a Dr. Who/Dr. Seuss mashup and put it in a frame that's painted a metallic blue. This really touched me, especially because a while back my husband and I came across a story about a dad who bought Oh the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss when his daughter was starting kindergarten and had her teachers every year write a message to her in the cover from K-12th grade. It made us tear up and we want to do that as well. Perfect picture is perfect. Cheesy

And then there was this pair of tiny felt moccasins! They're so beautiful, I can't even get over it. I keep picking them up and squealing happily over them, ha ha.

I feel so completely spoiled and amazed with dreadlady's incredible package. Thank you so much!

This board went so quiet!  Is anyone out there?

I love, love, LOVE the Dr Who stuff!  I'd put that in my own room. Haha

I know my partner received some time ago, so I'll try to post pictures soon.  I took them with my mum's camera because mine was acting up, so I'll ask her to email them tomorrow.

I received my package from the most amazing angel of all time, Rhymesworange!!  My nephew, little Nickolas Christopher, was born 2 weeks ago, so the timing couldn't have been better.

First off, a quilt!!

My sister absolutely loves the colours, it looks so good in the nursery.

And then, as if that wasn't enough...

A crocheted viking hat, a knit cap with hand-made felt patch, and red converse booties!!  His auntie Rachel is a big Whovian nerd, so you'd better believe he'll be getting a little blue pinstripe suit when he grows into the shoes.

A triumphant fist-pump of delight over his cool new hat

Thank you so much, Rhymesworange, you totally spoiled Nickolas, and his momma and I are sososo grateful!!!

I never did post pics of what I sent to boystress, so here it is:  A short-sleeved cardigan with a headband for the new baby, hats for baby and big sister, and a butterfly mobile.  I also sent some Dora crayons and colouring books.
