Okay I went back and looked at the org template style

And corrected my instructions:

It is cut the background fabric 6 1/4 square into quarter triangles and then sew that to the color pinwheel quarter triangles.

sew the half square triangles made from the 4 3/8 squares to the stripes.

I have corrected the org post to reflex the changes.

Hope that is a little easier to understand.
