did you make the paperclay or buy it? if so what brand?  I'm interested in trying some as an alternative to polymer clay.

Nope, didn't make it, I bought it from Hobby Lobby.  This is the one I got:  http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/natural-white-creative-paperclay-858282/

I've used it before to makes some little gnome houses, like knickertwist makes, for a wreath, and it worked splendidly.  It takes really well to being painted with acrylics.

Oh all these gorgeous HOs are making me anxious!  Are my HOs up to par....oh I hope so for my partner's sake!  I love your birdies jilly....although I don't know that I"ve seen anything of yours that I haven't loved!

What an amazing gallery! I finally caught up to oohing and ahhing at all the lovely HOs. Amazing. My tippy top favorites (though every package has been awesome) are the dog paintings, the ceramic santa and the colorful birdie blocks!

My apologies to homerof2 for posting these pics a few days later than expected. Life has been crazytown. Like, really crazytown. Without further ado:


The first small ho is this cuuuute little ornament. One of my themes was cardinals and snowmen, and I'm so glad homerof2 picked it. I think this probably qualifies as more than a small, because cross stitch takes a long time! Love this, it's on my tree now.


The next small HO is a mugrug with ho ho stitched on, perfect for a mug of cocoa and a christmas cookie



And the large ho is this pretty stocking with a super soft fuzzy cuff at the top. I can't stop touching it, lol. And there is more beautiful cross stitch work.


And finally, homerof2 included some extras, a stack of great holiday colorful paper (I can never have enough paper!) and a toucan ATC! I love me some toucans and this one is too cute!

I agree--cross stitch takes a lot of time and paying attention!  I love the ornament and the stocking with the cross stitched snowmen!

The toucan is so festive and ready for the holidays!

I am extremely late at publicly thanking the elves that have visited me and left me some amazing gifts, even though I had to drop out of the swap. Thanks so much to gotgrey and kittykill!! I had a couple of weeks of bad luck going there and they seem to have helped helped break the streak. I don't have pictures yet, so if either of you have them, please post them.
