Wee! two more dotees came today!  Thank you so much Partners, this was fun!

First from Alexampersandra, an octopus! My younger daughter immediately took it, seriously just barely snapped a pic and now I have to go hunting for it. Verrrry cute! I love the suction cups! But Alex&dra, now I'm curious about what got broken...?

And also, from goddessgarb, Rapunzel! She feels very old world, regal, princess-ey, with her floral brocade-feeling dress pattern and her 100year old lace and trim. So beautiful! She looks amazing against the blue of my desk.

Now that I see the photos side by side, I actually like the version I sent better... but this was the original octopus:

They are taking ages to get to Australia.  Thought they would have been here by now and we are off on holidays tomorrow.  Lets hope they get here first thing in the morning!

bec99, I hope they get there soon! If we lose them I'll be happy to make a replacement dotee for you and send it along.

I received my dotee from Noushi yesterday, and OH MY GOODNESS IT'S A CREEPER!

For those of you who aren't familiar, it's a baddie from the videogame Minecraft, which has eaten my life and is quite possibly the best thing ever:

MY LIFE IS COMPLETE NOW. I have a Minecraft dotee. Thank you so much, Noushi! I love it!

puamelia sent me a lovely fae Dotee with some fancy tissue paper I can use in my art, and tucked in some Hawaiian chocolates as well.  She now has a magickal place on my tree (which I finally put up last night).  Thanks puamelia!  I'm glad you liked your Rapunzel!

Puamelia volunteered to be an angel replacement for one of my earlier partners and sent me a lovely "weather/winter" themed dotee. she used silver/sparkle paint pens for the face (cleverly using a cloud for hair and snowflakes for eyes and nose). Then, she added some silvery sequins and beads below with silver thread. A very clever design and I hope that is clear from the photo (the colors are subtle and I'm not positive the details will show, but believe me, it's great).
