Harry Potter Holiday ~ Beware Nargles in Your Mistletoe!

we recieved our first partner package today from chrmisha! my daughter lynn, is a hugh luna lovegood fan, so i let her fill out my survay. the package had her name and mine on it, so she unwrapped it and happily took it to her room before i even saw it. she had to dig the envelope out of the trash to know who it was from.

the necklace is blue glass beads with a cork charm and the braclet had diffrent sizes of blue and clear beads with a silver charm that  says follow your heart, i will have to get a close up view when she takes it off. it's really pretty.

she is 9, and sometimes growing up can be awkard and hard. we definetly need more luna lovegoods, and fewer bella swans.

Oh, my!!! tapestrymlp sent me the most awesome things!!! My pictures are always horrid so maybe she will post some better ones. Are you ready?
First off, the best wrapped present ever:

She painted teeny snitches on the "paper" and tied a perfect bow.

Then came these:

Itty-bitty magnets in amazing detail. I have no idea how you did these!

Then came this:

A Ravenclaw bookmark with the same epic detailing! Again, I don't know how you did this, but I love it.

And finally, my favourite:

Albus! With shiny half-moon spectacles. Love, love, love. Thank you SO much, tapestrymlp; you make the "bestest" things!!!!

Love the luna necklace and the magnets!

My partner mandymo13 received a little bit back so I thought I'd post what I'd sent her.

One of her favorite magical items is a wand and her favorite magical creature is a unicorn.

So, I sent her an ornament with a silver birch wand, 3.5 inches, unyeilding (due to the frost and ice) with unicorn tail core. There is a never-melting snow inside along with an extra shank of unicorn hair. This is special unicorn hair and is meant to light up the dark, but not obviously so with many muggles around. The ornament was from Luna and was meant to give just a little extra holiday magic.

I'm slow in posting pictures and I apologize! I teach high school and we are entering the end of term craziness.

I've received two amazing packages!

From indigo_roses, a sugar quill and a Weasley sweater with a lovely mixture of teas that are already at work where I tend to drink the most tea.



From jnny_heck, I received a Gilly weed, Luna and Ron. The box was full of those little paper spiders. When I first started opening the box, a couple fell out and my son, also a major HP fan, said "You've got a Ron!"

I received today from chrmisha!

She sent me a bag of Fizzing Whizbees and lovely potions ornament!   


The three potions from top to bottom are Felix Felicis, amortentia and Veritaserum.  I took a closeup of the Felix Felicis because it has neat little golden spheres and also (I think) some glitter in there too. 




chrmisha, if you have better pictures please post them.  I tried and tried but I kept getting glare on the bottles in my photos and these were the best I could get.
