I received from both Avestel and Jnny_heck but my phone is refusing to email the photos so I will have to wait to upload. Arg

It allowed me to send pictures of the package I got from Avestel

A knit sweater in Slytherin colors (I have no house allegiance), a Maurader's map bookmark that folds out to the entire map, and a little potions ornament.

My pictures finally made it through the ether and into my inbox. Wee!

So, As Iwas saying before technology hit me with a stunning spell, Bobbinalong sent me an AWESOME package.  Seriously, this gal knows what she's doing! She sent me a box with multi colored paper shreds- so festive!- and in them was a wrapped gift that was tied at each end like a candy.

When I opened it up I may have squeed, I admit nothing. (I totally squeed like a little girl.)  Here's what was inside:

A pair of orb earings:

There was also this incredible beaded (Beaded I tell you!) Hermione bag. The pictures don't do it justice- when one opens it it has little pockets all the way around the circumference.  So cool!  My nephews are wicked jealous. (Thanks, Bobbinalong, for helping me maintain my position as "Coolest Aunt.")

As if that weren't enough there were two ornaments for my Wizarding Christmas Tree. I apologize for the sideways pics, I rotated them in hosting but they got skewed and distorted so I put them back.  If you tilt your head you can see that the first is a little hedwig carrying my acceptance letter to Hogwarts (Inside was a little note that said "Hogwarts Accepted" with a check mark. so cute!)

And my favorite piece (if I had to choose one) is a little version of Snape's Christmas Cracker Hat modeled after Neville's bogart experience.  So fantastic!! Pin away, my friends!

There was also some shiny christmas confetti and a package of Bertie Botts Every Flavor beans!

A Hagrid sized thanks to you, Bobbinalong! You made my first ever Craftster swap really amazing.  You rock!

Harry witnessed Professor McGonagall walking right past Peeves who was determinedly loosening a crystal chandelier and could have sworn he heard her tell the poltergeist out of the corner of her mouth 'It unscrews the other way.

Love Snape's Christmas Cracker Hat and the beaded bag!   Cheesy

Here's some pictures I took of the Weasley sweater and Marauder's map bookmark.

Since haroldlovesmaude doesn't have a favorite house I made her a Weasley sweater in Christmasy colors (green with red hanger) and similar to Harry's first sweater that Mrs. Weasley made him.   Smiley   I didn't mean it to have Slytherin colors but it could be that too I suppose!

And the bookmark was from Fred and George.  Wink   It was a parchment colored bookmark with a secret.  Hidden within (from the eyes of teachers and other students) was the Marauder's map.    On the front and back are very faint words reminding the user of the incantations needed to use the map.
Front (with the design):  I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

Back (no design):  Mischief managed

The idea was that the front reminder was for making the words of the map appear and the blank back was the reminder that those words would wipe the map clean.

And the map itself inside the bookmark and unfolded.   Sorry that first image is so fuzzy, I couldn't get it to focus properly but the I think you can see how the folded map was hidden inside.   Smiley

Edited to add info about the map:
Since a couple people mentioned they liked the map a lot, I wanted to share how to make one.   Smiley   I found the map printables online here.   I fiddled with her map in photoshop until I could get it to print double sided properly when folding.  Then I created the bookmark covers to match and hide the map inside between them.   If you do a google image search you can find a large enough sized Hogwart's crest to print clearly and then the fonts I used for the text were Charlemagne Std for the upper case names and Blackadder ITC for the rest.  Smiley

Wow! It's been a while since I've been able to stop by the gallery, but it is amazing!

ALL the owls are so cute! I love to see everybody's personal style on them. (:
The nativity scene is so clever!
And Hermione's bag is magnificent.
And the Maurader's map! It's so so so awesome; I love that it folds into a bookmark! [/pinned]

Edit: OH YEAH! The dragon ornament! OMGawsh, I pinned that! It's fantastic!

I have pinned SO many things from this gallery Cheesy All the packages are wonderful!

Get those pinning fingers ready though because I have three awesome items from Pottermouth to share with you. She absolutely spoiled me!

First, a slightly different take on the popular Harry Potter peg person ornament:

I love, love, love his little glasses, felt arms and eensy tie. This is such a cute ornament.

Next up, a gorgeous Eeylops Owl Emporium mini-hoop with adorable owl ribbon. Did you cut this by hand Pottermouth? It's fantastic!

And last, my absolute favorite ornament to date. A Teesha Moore style patch with Ron's furry cup on it from the failed Vera Verto spell! How freaking adorable is this? Plus, it's Pottermouth's first TM patch so it's doubly amazing. Best ornament ever. The cup is padded which gives it a nice dimension and the little embroidery floss whiskers crack me up.

THANKS FOR A FANTASTIC PACKAGE! I am so, so, so glad you agreed to be my swap partner Cheesy

Now I have major swap anxiety about the items I'm making for Pottermouth! I hope she likes them even half as much as I love these.
