I received from beth8144 today! The package was full of extras and was really amazing! I just hope she likes the items I sent for her!

This was a really fun way to wrap the items, I may have to do this in the future  Cheesy

Overall:

This little guy is my favorite!

Ornaments

Owl Fingerless Gloves

And the big bag was a really awesome cowl! I love how it even matches the faded purple in my hair! What a funny coincidence!

Glad you loved it the purple cowl when you said you wanted it I knew I had the yarn in my stash waiting to be used. And the extras I had just been playing around with felt and tossed in some of what I had made. Except the octopus he was made just for you.

Here are the amazing knitted goodies we got from bananasandhair. So great. My baby decided to model them for me.

The lovely hat for myself.

My kiddos great hat

Fingerless gloves baby girl finally gave them back and now I am wearing them

She included the left over yarn, for I can make another goodie to match the gloves.

Thank you so much Bananas I love everything the care and detail you put into our stuff I love it all.

Love the cowl and the owl stuffie. Amazed by the knit hats. If I had stuck with learning to knit years ago, I might have been able to tackle the tassel hat, but the other pattern looks far beyond anything I might have considered trying. Good job by both of you!

The owl fingerless mitts are cute! And what lovely bulky yarn in that purple cowl!  It crochets up so nicely!

The two hats are also wonderful...love the yarns!  Again, I am loving the bulky yarns...are they the same brand?

The octo ornament is very special!

Nice start to the gallery!

I GOT MY PACKAGE!!! ahhhh I'm so thrilled!
it was international delivery, so I'm impressed it got here so fast. But hey, I'm not complaining  Tongue

soooo, I got these:

An adorable platypus [my favorite animal ever], rainbow fingerless gloves, a matching rainbow hat, and an assortment of colorful buttons!  Grin

The gloves:

The hat [as demonstrated by my boyfriend]:

My hair is the same exact color as the last shade of purple in the hat, so it matches perfectly! The colors are so bright, I wish I had a better camera to capture the colors.

lastly, the best part - the platypus!

I like how it's so "meh"  Cheesy

I also got a note in this gorgeous purple envelope, but I ran out of battery before I could take any pictures of it.

Thank you so much Whysteria! I absolutely loved everything and I'm going to rock those matching rainbows all the time!

Hmm, seems my computer is messing up as badly as my iphone, I wrote a message earlier saying I was having trouble with getting my pics on here but I managed to get the main one loaded into my saved pics so I can post it^^

It's a really awesome brown knitted bag that I plan to take with me to thanksgiving tomorrow and show it off X3 a perfect Kerby, so dang cute, he's going to be so happy with all my other plushies  Grin and some really yummy treats, one is called Halva (the green one on the left), it's a pistachio treat type thing, I think it smells allot like cheese cake but it doesn't taste as sweet, it's creamy and crunchy and yummy :3 and the other is called Bamba (on the right), it's a peanut flavored kind of puffy snack (like cheese puffs but peanut flavor) the bag is empty now and I'm sad about it Tongue I also got a pen with pretty purple ink I plan to use for my pattern book I have Smiley I love everything and I'm so happy <3~ Thank you BlueNeta, your the best^^

Well it looks like everyone has sent, now we just wait till everyone has received. Please let the mail get where it is supposed to on time.

Oh and for those of you who are in the US Happy Thanksgiving.

"I've received" is such a calm-to-the-point-of-boredom way to describe the package I received from jtlhmmwabodf. As I tore into the packing envelope, these amazingly teensy, tiny balls of fluff tumbled all around me. Bunnies! Six of them, each less than an inch in length, hopped out of the bag to cavort and play. It was love and laughter at first sight! (Unfortunately one of the bunnies must be camera shy because it disappeared before I could take its photo. I think it must be hiding with the dust bunnies under my hall furniture.)

Next I found the most wonderful cable-knit purse in the package. Notice that even the handles are cables. I'm just amazed by the skill involved! She even included a care tag, so I'll know how to wash it later.

And then I pulled this fabulous, woolen cowl from the package. I love the colors and, again, my favorite knit pattern - - cables. I'm not posting an action shot because I want everyone to be able to see the details of the cowl. jtlhmmwabodf did such a beautifully professional job on everything she sent me and she pulled them all from my pinterest board of 'Things I like but can't make'. Think I'm going to have to rename it 'Things I love'

Evidently the purse and cowl photos are too large to upload. New camera so I'll have to re-post as soon as I figure out how to make them smaller. Sorry for the delay.

I'm sooooo happy that you like everything!  You were a pleasure to knit for.  The bunnies do kind of have a tendancy to run off, don't they? They disappeared on me about five times before making it into the envelope Tongue

I've received from kbrison!  Everything came wrapped up all nicely, but I tore into it like a savage before I could get a pic of that.  Look look look:

I LOVE this bag.  I'll happily admit that it's already crammed full of stuff and was carried around all day.  It's great for carrying my spinning around the house, and I can't believe how much it holds.

A star washcloth straight from my pinterest, and in one of my favourite colours.

And last but not least, a soap saver AND soap.  The whole time I was opening the package I kept wondering why everything smelled so nice, and then I got to the soap and it explained everything Smiley

kbrison!  You've been an awesome swap partner.  THANK YOU!  Amazing stuff like this makes me wish I could crochet.

I received these lovely goodies from Sylvani!  I crochet and knit but hardly ever for myself...same with her...so I requested crochet items for me!

First, a tea holder for my purse.  I love tea but seem to forget them when I go to work!
She included lots of tea in the holder...it is stuffed!

Next, the softest hat...it covers my ears and hair...perfect for winter...I am not sure of the stitches but they are lovely!

My favorite...Sylvani learned the crocodile stitch just to make these...I still want to learn this stitch as it is just gorgeous...but for now, here are some fingerless mitts !

Action shot!

Then, I had these on my pinterest to learn how to make...they are so lovely and Sylvani added beads!

Action shot! (too cold to wear in winter, but hubby thought they were very sexy! Cheesy)

And, finally, she included a baby hat...so cute!  I have so many friends who are going to be grandmas this year, so I need baby gifts!  Perfect!

Thank you so much for your generosity and talent!  Hope you get your package soon!

Yes - I can now post the wonderful items my partner sent me!
She took inspiration from my love of 'jewel' colours.

First up - a lovely snugly hat that was labeled as 'Amethyst' (we had snow Wednesday and yesterday, and it kept me lovely and warm  Cheesy)

and a scarf to go with it

.

And my favourite item- another scarf, this time 'Topaz'

It is lovely and soft and so tactile  Grin Grin!

THANK YOU so much RebeccaJay - this was a great swap and I love the items I received!

What a wonderful bag!  I have it on a list to do...but since it is for me, it will probably never get done! Cheesy

And the two scarves separate or together are going to keep you warm!  Love the colors (and the names of the colors!).

i loved knitting this bag. i spent most of the time watching documentaries while knitting it because i was sick.

simple lined zip case for her hooks or crafting bits

kinda a crappy picture of the lining .

and lastly  a picture of the first colour work i have done Smiley

the bag is done in a chocolate brown and a baby pink.. colours my swap partner said she liked Smiley and then i found the lining fabric and it sort  of decided  the colours....

i love her bag so much i almost stole it  Smiley but i plan to make another one for myself.

oh wow--your knitting is so even and nice!  You did a great job...and what patience...two colors and stockinette stitch...you put a lot of work into that bag!  I love that the lining matched so nicely.

Thanks, AM! Cheesy

The package also contained some Rice Krispy Treats and some lip balm and a skein of one of my favorite yarns!

I am just so happy that it arrived!

Sylvani--if you have better pictures, please post them...mine are pretty bad because I did not think I would need them! Cheesy

If not, you have the real things and that makes me very happy indeed! YAY!
