first words out of my mouth when I saw the thumbnail; "OMG I NEED THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I knew what it was as soon as I saw that thumbnail because that was one of my favorite things about SMB3.  awesome, awesome idea and job.  Grin

haha thank you!!! When I was trying to think of something productive I could make with the mario icons and the first thing that popped in my head was "OMG I COULD MAKE A P-WING HAIR CLIP!!!" and I just had to make it Cheesy

Thread :| It's not the most secure thing ever. Next time I make one of these, I'll probably use hot glue or something to help hold it in place. Basically I just wrapped around the hair pin several times in my thread and "stitched it" into the back of the p-wing (under the stitching in the back). I know that's a terrible description. Basically, I'd wrap the thread around the pin, then do a stitch behind the needlework from the p-wing (between the needlework and the plastic canvas), and kept repeating that until I felt like it was secure enough. Hopefully that helps, if not let me know and I'll see about potentially taking pics the next time I do one of these Cheesy

i understand what you're saying Tongue i find attaching things to hair clips rather annoying. because they're so tiny, hot glue sometimes just comes off, thread gets loose, etc. SO ANNOYING! Tongue
