I'm extremely proud of this project I just finished, and I wanted to share it with you all!

I took this couch(on the right):

Removed the fabric:

Karate chopped it in half:

Foamed it up:

Began tufting:

Finished tufting:

Sewed up side pieces, stapled them on:

(Please excuse the messiness. I was in the middle of a big project;))

And ta da!:

I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do! Yay tufted headboards(made from old ugly couches)!

I'm loving the "finished tufting" pic. That fabric - you could make whole couches awesome like that!

Gasp! So genius!

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

as much as it pains me to see such a beautiful couch chopped apart, the headboard is stellar.

That is awesome! And I'm guessing it keeps your head warm - away from the outside wall!

This looks soooo comfy.  What a great job, and I love the fabric you used, so elegant.
