I am new to Craftster, and I hope I am posting this in the right place.
We would like to have a holiday craft fair between Thanksgiving & Christmas at our church. We have not done one before, so I am trying to get an idea of how many vendors that might be interested. The proceeds (entry/space fee-expenses like advertising) would be raised to benefit the church and/or a couple charities we work with locally.
We are located between Altamonte Springs & Zellwood, and we are on 441, so it would be great traffic.
From reading a few posts, I see that one of the challenges vendors face is high fees for the space. I am thinking just $50-$60 (ish), depending on whether we provide the table.
I am still playing around with the idea. My mom sold her items in a lot of craft shows up in NY, and I think this would be great! Especially allowing vendors to 1) provide holiday shopping for customers, and 2) allow vendors to earn money for the holidays.
I would love to hear suggetions, as well as other places I might be able to look for vendors & advertise our fair.
