My most recent doll, Cassandra, is a witch. I had a lot of fun making her.

Her legs and bodice are painted, skirt and bloomers are handsewn. Her hat is made out of craft foam which I then painted. There are many, many beads which where handstitched on which took HOURS AND HOURS! But I think it was well worth the effort.

Bloomers!

Her face was embroidered.

Her freckles were drawn on with a sepia prismacolour pen and her cheeks were coloured with real blush. And her hair was done using the wig cap method. Pattern from here: http://byhookbyhand.blogspot.com.au/2010/04/prairie-flowers-original-cloth-doll.html

Thanks for looking!

She's amazing! I love the bead detailing, and I agree, the look is worth it!
