Dr. Who!

This is my first time sharing a project here, I'm so nervous!
But I have had this done for some time now, I have just gotten around to uploading it, but I am kind of proud of it.

It's a Dr. Who scarf made for a buddy of my for last Christmas. It turned out muuuch bigger than anticipated, but that is fine with me.



It is 11 inches wide and 24 feet long. It is massive lol The practicality of it is questionable, but who cares?

Love the scarf!  It looks amazing and is a huge project!  I would probably figure out a way to wear it, just awesome!  My ADD brain also thought it would make a great valance over one of our windows.

Wonderful!  24 feet?  wow--the knitted one is 14 feet and way to long to wear as well (for practical daily use, that is!)

I finished knitting mine and for some reason, I started thinking of making a crochet one as well...

I think a valance might be a cute idea...

Lol! It's great because the guy I made it for is only 5' 5" so this thing engulfs him

Yea I followed the knitting pattern numbers, but now I know if I ever did this again then I should definitely cut in half..

What size hook did you use?  Did you single crochet?  I bet it weighs a ton!

Yea it's all single crochet and I believe I used a size G. I had the number of stitches calculated, I think it was something near 12k stitches, but I made this so long ago I can't remember properly
