Hi guys!
I wanted to introduce you all to the newest doll in the house Smiley

Meet Persephone!

I love when dolls decide who they want to be.
I had a few names picked out for this little girl, and had just about settled on what it would be.
As I put the last stitches on her, she whispered that she wanted to be called Persephone.
I had never even considered that name, but I knew it could be nothing else.

Persephone loves flowers and springtime.
She's a bit disappointed that her birthday is in the fall.
She also has a weakness for sweets (but doesn't everyone?  Wink )

Persephone is about 12 inches tall if you count her long legs.
She's made of fleece and cotton, with a tulle skirt.
Her face is painted with acrylics and colored pencil.

She's now patiently waiting for me to create her sisters to keep her company.  Grin

Aw, thanks, you guys.  Grin
One of her sisters is sitting next to me, glaring at me to give her hair.
Guess I better get to it.  Wink

Thanks, Foxy Sam! I have to admit, that yarn I used for her hair has to be my very favorite. Smiley
