Needle-felted Octopus Pillow

One of my friends really liked the Squid pillow I made a while back and asked if I would make a similar octopus pillow as a gift for her sister this holiday. The base for the pillowcase was made from two second-hand sweaters with high wool/animal fiber content. The octopus design is made from wool being felted directly into the pillow case. I used the original edges on the front of the lilac sweater (which had lots of hook and eye fasteners) for the backside so that the pillow form doesn't peak through when the pillow is in use.
