For Halloween this year I made my son a "Bowser" costume.  I used a pattern for the body with my own embellishments and created the head and shell from scratch.  Everything is made from fleece and stuffing.  The costume took about 2 weeks off and on to work on.  I made the shell a kind of backpack so he could take it off and ride in the car without difficulties.  He specifically asked for the mouth to be open so it looked like he was being eaten Grin

You don't see nearly enough Bowser costumes specifically because it's not an easy costume to make, but you did a really good job! He looks so good!

It's absolutely perfect and your son looks very happy! My mom always made my costumes growing up as well, they always look so much better than store bought costumes!
