My daughter is 2. She has a stuffed Eeyore that she loves. I decided to try and make her an Eeyore costume for Halloween.





I started with Simplicity pattern 1753

I modified it only slightly, leaving the feet open instead of putting booties on it. I also used Velcro for the closure instead of a zipper. I free handed ears and a tail to attach to the suit as well as yarn for a mane.

Of course, it was hard to get pictures of a 2 yr old who didn't want to stand still, but here's a shot of the whole thing without her:

the tail is just a tube with yarn at the end. It's attached by Velcro dot and the button is sewn on:
