We go all out for Halloween.

The Ice King's costume is a snuggie made from blue felt and the mask was white venetian mardi gras mask so I painted/varnished it blue.  The crowns were cardboard leprechaun hats I found at the craft store, cut the shape, spray painted gold then glued the right color gems on.
Princess Bubblegums costume is a Pink Satin gormal gown I made then put a purple sash and strung some purple
Jake is made of Orange fleece, using a basic hat pattern then cutting extra bits out to turn it into a Jake face, dyed some leggings and made a sack with arms from the fleece.
Finn the Human's hat is made from white fleece, his backpack is made out of duck canvas with a zipper put into it so he could use it for trick or treating (store bought shirt and shorts (dyed dark blue)
Gunter is made from an empty giant coffee can with fleece material.  Filled with candy that the ice king gave out to the kids.

Your family is too cute! Did you make Lady Rainacorn, too? Can we get a close up of that?

I did make Lady Rainicorn Grin...sorry the pics aren't that great.

I cut the strips of fabric for the rainbow and sewed them together into a pillow case the size of a body pillow.  The head and legs were made from the same material.  The "hair" is the fancy sheer fabric with glitter that I sewed straight lines and then cut almost all the way down.  I had to use a curtain rod to keep her head from being all wibble wobble.

My mom was Marceline (but we didn't actually make anything for her just store bought) and we attempted to get my dad into a Lumpy Space Princess like snuggie but he refused...

Love it so much!  I tried to force my family to be Adventure Time characters, but they weren't having it!
