Wonderful Job! It looks fantastic on you too. I made the skirt last year - of blue/black shot taffeta. I nearly lost my mind doing all those pleats though. I think they took about 8 hours of pleating, pressing and pinning as the taffeta was very slippy, creased in the wrong way constantly, and because there is so many of them, slid all over my sewing room. The end result was worth it though;  my skirt rustles beautifully when I walk!

Jigdancer - your skirt sounds beautiful!  It is indeed such a deliciously rustle-ful skirt.  But 8 hours with those pleats...man.  My taffeta was fairly compliant (and I used lots of pins) and it took me 3-4 hours to wrestle all of the pleats into submission.
