Hi Everyone!
This is my first post on a new (well, not really new but, different..) account! My other account is like-a-hermit but I abandoned it for a somewhat more fitting username, haha!

Anyway, on topic, my wonderful boyfriend, Aries, has always wanted a satyr costume. Lucky for him, I took on the task! Many, many, MANY hours, days, weeks later he made his debut at the local renny faire as our resident goat man Smiley  Of course, I finished just in time for Halloween. He was a hit at all of the parties. Onto the pictures!

This is the only filter-y photo I'll post! Promise!

The "pants", tunic, and hooves are made by me 100% from scratch. This was the first of this kind of work I've done and I'm actually quite proud of it Smiley
Horns and ears come from an online store and his kidney belt was made by a good friend and very talented leather crafter.

Thanks for checking it out! <3

That's fantastic!  Does he have to contort his legs at all, or are the legs padded out in the right shape?

Impressive silhouette!  And to have such a willing participant!

I'm curious to know how you put all of this together!

Thanks guys!
He's actually straight straight up, walking (mostly) normally. I wanted to exaggerate the padding enough to make it look like his legs are all bent. As for his hooves- they're built on 2 inch platform shoes, with a chunk of the heel cut out. That little bit of space between the ground and his heel helps make him look like he's on his tippy toes when in actuality hes standing pretty much flat.

Wow thats wonderful! especially the fact that he doesnt actually have to tiptoe it. And I wouldnt have guessed either. May I ask what you used for padding that kept such a nice shape? is it foam?
