Here is a sweater to top refashion I did recently. I don't have any before pictures but just imagine a really big (XXL) size sweater with half sleeves.
I cut out a bit on the shoulders and took in some from the sides. Finished the edges with ruffled lace.

I love the lace edging! Looks great. I have a giant pink sweater I'm searching for re-con inspiration, and will have to include some lace!
