I REALLY love the whole concept of the Elf on the Shelf, but I didn't want to spend the money that they're asking for the commercial one. And I just felt like I could make one that would suit our family better Smiley

So this is what I made. His name is Leonard. His face is polymer clay, his hair is Rapunzel's (ha ha) and I have crocheted him a hat and knit him a scarf. The pattern is my own. I think he will mostly suit our needs Smiley

I started a Shelf Elf challenge on my facebook page so that everyone might join in on the fun and make it a handmade Christmas, so he's my entry!

He's wonderful! I hope you have fun with him this season. He looks like he might be planning on getting into trouble. Cheesy

He looks very mischievous indeed.  Great job, I'm sure your kids (and you too) will have a blast with him.

Sometimes you get to change the world, and other times the world changes you.
