Pumpkins for sale!

I've been wanting to try my hand at creating one of those fantastic altered doll houses, but it just feels like such an overwhelming project to dig into! So I decided to work a bit smaller, and made a little pumpkin stand for Halloween.

I did my fair share of yard saleing this summer, looking for treasures to craft with. My pumpkin stand started out as this discarded, hideous pile of pink:


I think it's much happier now!


It has gotten a bit overgrown, but that's what happens when pumpkins are left to their own devices.


I have had that stained glass embellishment for years, and finally found a place to use it. It fit in there perfectly!


I hope you like my pumpkin stand! It was so fun to make -- though I'm still deciding if I want to tackle a bigger house... maybe there needs to be a pumpkin farm some day.

How clever of you!  I never would have thought to use that pink thing to make such an awesome Halloween project (or even to buy it in the first place). Very cool!
