Check out her full project thread here.  Be sure to congratulate her! Smiley

It's Time to Enter!

The entry period is Dec 3 - 10, 2012.

Entries must be posted by Dec 10 11:59:59 PDT 2012.

What can you do with thread?  We found this awesome theme suggestion by Aislynn and we're making it happen! Your challenge this month is to create a project featuring thread... beautiful thread.  We're also very happy to announce that this challenge is sponsored by Elmer's!

You can use thread from your stash, purchase new or vintage thread or even create your very own thread.  If it's thread, it's welcome in this challenge.  You can utilize your thread in any method you choose (embroider, resin, crochet, glue, weave, etc.).  The thread should be the obvious focal point of your project.  Please use your best judgment.

Check out some of the awesome products from Elmer's that might help you with your crafting this month.  From Precision Tip Scissors to oodles of adhesives, they've got the tools for us.  You can even submit your project for review and feature on the Elmer's site!  Once you've completed your project, submit it for them to love, too: http://www.elmers.com/crafters/submit-project

Maybe some of these Craftsters will inspire you!

Rules:

  • Craft your project during this challenge period (Nov 5 2012 - Dec 10 2012) only.  Projects created before this timeframe will be moved from the Challenge Entries board and excluded from the voting poll.
  • On Dec 3 2012, there will be a special board created for entries.  Post your entry on the specified entry board during the period of Dec 3 - Dec 10 11:59:59 PDT 2012.  No sooner.  No later.
  • Voting will happen from Dec 11 - Dec 18 2012.
  • Enter only ONE project.  Your entry can have multiple components to it.
  • If cheating of any sort is detected, the applicable entry and votes will be disqualified.

Originality:

It's probably impossible to know whether your project is 100% original, has never been posted on Craftster, or made by anyone else in the past.  But if your project was definitely inspired by something you've seen before, please give credit to that project. Smiley

About Elmer's:
For more than sixty years, Elmers Products, Inc., has been providing creative adhesive solutions that support project success and turn ideas into reality. By continuing to develop innovative new products, Elmers has become the trusted brand when it comes to fueling creativity and providing outstanding product performance in the classroom, at home, in the workshop and at the craft table. Prizes:

At the end, I'll set up a poll right here and the first place winner (US or non-US) will get:

(1) a super craft supply pack from Elmer's (valued at $50!)
(2) their project in the Featured Projects area
(3) their project in the Craftster Blog
(4) and a prize from us at Craftster.org -- any one item from one of Craftster's online shops!

Oh gosh.  Oh gosh.  I have a project half-completed that I would like to enter in this.  Oooh Ooooh.

Would that even be eligible since it wasn't all completed in the crafting period?

Very interesting challenge idea! Can we use any kind of thread? Or is it just to the kind you sew with?
