Nisser are little Danish creatures that come bearing presents at Chrismas

I bought wooden pegs last year for a project that never happened and over the weekend I realised that they'd be a great starting point. Combined with wool/felt and a wooden bead they make interesting little nisse men.

Great. I like these very much. The beards are awesome.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!

Two things. 1. These little guys are adorable. I love their beards and hats and noses. 2. I've never heard of them before and I have a growing fascination with holiday traditions and folk lore from other countries. So thanks for introducing me to the Nisser!

These are very sweet!  I can imagine them on the Christmas tree or just lined up for a centerpiece on the table. Smiley Nice work!

I believe that Nisser are in Norway too, a Norwegian friend told us last Summer.

Anyway, yours are so adorable! LOVE them!  Cheesy

my mom made something like these years ago Smiley they were like little fairy clothes pins. Totally brings back good memories. Adorable!
