I'm in a tea towel swap with some friends and have been stitching variations on a theme, that theme being Bigfoot.  I've posted most of them here, too.

The owner of this towel is a Brit living in New Zealand with whom we've joked about sheep so I really had no choice but to make Bigfoot wooly!  I think he's also feeling a bit Oompa-Loompa-ish, a bit Commonwealth barrister-ish and/or a bit Zeus-ish.  Wink

There are actually 3 shades of white threaded for all the wool and 2 shades of purple in the violets.  I used split-, satin- and stem-stitches, lazy daisy and French knots.

Thanks!  I was pretty pleased with that experiment and glad that the "wool" shows up so well on the white towel.

Thank you!  I don't think I have a favorite, but I think this one is the strangest which I like a lot.

That wool is so magnificently luxurious I want to knit him into a sweater.  Grin The effects you achieve with your stitching is always amazing and this one is no exception. I also love the expressions you give him and this one has a sort of docile yet cagy look in his eye.

You know, with it getting close to Christmas I can see a little Santa in him too. I really love this.

Aw, thanks!  I have been having lots of fun (and a little panic) trying to come up with all the variations and "prop" ideas.  Three more to go!
