I made this coin purse basically because I love Halloween and all things Pumpkin.
It is super simple.
Here are some very basic instructions, but if you prefer a traditional pattern you can find one on my blog (link toward the bottom)
The pattern is basically a rectangle 31 sc stitches across by 22 rows down.
I chose to make mine striped.

Fold your rectangle in half so your rows run vertically, & sew up the sides leaving the top open.
Attach green along the top and work two rows of single crochet in the round around the opening. I decreased the second round at the seams, but it isn't critical. Sew your zipper in place.

Next you design your face out of felt! I used black, but you can use yellow if you want it to look like a lit up jack o' lantern. Be creative and add some cute notions or buttons. I added buttons on the eyes to give it a little life.
I love this little guy & I hope you love yours too!
There is a written pattern and addition tips and tricks on my blog, it's all free!
