I love it!  Just learning/learned the crocodile stitch, but I don't know if I would have thought to use it for the hair!  It works perfectly, and I'm very impressed that you have an entirely crocheted costume!

You make the cutest Marge! The whole costume is amazing but the hair...the hair...is AMAZING (yes, all CAPS!). Great work!
