Thanks for the info! My son and I just started using the Gelatin recipe for 2012 Halloween, we found it on youtube, but we were wondering how we would make a mold. NOW WE KNOW!! Thanks so much for sharing! We are going to have so much fun this year!!!!

This is awesome! Thanks for the tutorial! Have you ever made a full prosthetic gelatin head cast from a live model?
I'm staging a production of Macbeth. I need severed heads for the end when his head is chopped off. I bought a Lifecast kit by Artmolds. My plan is to make a full head cast of the actor to use as a mold, then pour the gelatin into that to make a head in his likeness.
We need to do 16 shows. Do you think the head will hold up for 16 shows?
Also, if you have made a full head cast, what is your technique?
And do you know any additional resources where I can find more info about this technique?
Please & thank you!

I can't wait to have a go at this! I am trying to teach myself FX work at the moment - your instructions are so much clearer!

Final pictures are awesome by the way! I had to do a double take and thought they were images from the actual video haha Smiley
