Here is my *almost* 8 month old little spring chicken, Camden.  I bought the hat, but made the comb from felt and hot glued it to the hat.  The onesies were bought.  I tucked one inside the other, sewed them together, then stuffed with quilt batting.  I then took a feather boa that I had purchased, cut it in half and sewed half on the front and half on the back.  The white tights were purchased.  The feet I made by taking 2 rubber gloves, stuffing them, and cutting holes in the top for his feet.  I got my inspiration from here: http://familyclawson.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html and here:  http://www.marthastewart.com/271882/animal-costumes-chicken-costume-lamb-cos .
