This is a tragic event.  Judith has lost so much.  Pretty much everything.  Not to mention the fibre arts community that has been affected by this too.
They've started a page where you can donate items or dollars towards the rebuilding of her studio. If you can, please help.

Time for me to dig back in at the shop and try to get some things made. It sucks when artists lose their equipment.

Yep, I'm trying to come up with something I can either donate or auction off.  I've got plenty to spare.

Oh my!

Right now, I'm trying to raise money for a fiber arts in MN friend whose home was destroyed by fire.  Their 2 dogs were inside the home. She homeschooled and lost all her teaching materials besides all her wheels, looms, fiber, yarn, ... as well as the essentials such as clothes, food, beds, et al

Oh man, that is so sad, Cyndi!  I think in either situation I'd have bend devastated. Is there anything we can do to help your friend?

Dear Friends,

Judith Mackenzie's Studio was totally destroyed by a fire, not by Hurricane Sandy.  Judith lives in Redmond, Washington, on the West Coast.  Hurricane Sandy devastated portions of the Caribbean and the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States.

No matter the cause, she does need help to rebuild.

Oh!  I have no idea about US geography,  so because of the timing I thought it was related.  Thank you for the clarification, though, Msthimble.  I will correct the first post and the title.
