I am selling baby shower gifts at my local craft fair. It is my first one and I can't think how to package my sales.
Any ideas?

Hello Friends,
As it is your first business, you should spread about your product's advertisement, so that everyone can know about your business. It will help to increase your popularity, and simultaneously, your sale will increase.
Thanks and Regards,

How big is your average item? Are you looking to be creative or just looking for general information?

My theme is Booties, Bibs, & Mitts. So I'll be selling them, as well as dummy/pacifier straps, and taggies.
So all the items are small, but I want a nice way to package them instead of putting them into white paper bags.
I also want to sell the booties, bibs and mitts as a set, so I need a professional looking packaging idea so they can be displayed in the packaging.
I would be grateful for any ideas, I am open to all suggestions.
Thanks for the reply.

You could dress up the paper bags with labels. Office supply stores have lots of shaped labels now instead of the regular old boring rectangle ones. You could print out some labels and put them on the bags for the small stuff, and put them on small boxes for the sets. Walmart has some inexpensive small boxes. I think Target has pillow boxes you could slap together easily, too. Probably cheaper to buy that stuff in bulk online, depends on how much time you have. Clearbags.com has some nice options. I think see-through boxes would be great for your items.

If you want a relatively cheap way to make see through/window pillow boxes give this a go. It does require access to a laminator, but if you don't have one you can beg or borrow, or perhaps get this done in bulk at an office supply store.
Buy a packet of laminating sheets (in Australia we can get 100 for about $20) and get some office paper (cheap is fine)
Make up or find on the net a pattern for a pillow style box that will just fit on your office paper. I would suggest making this up yourself, as it is easier to customise.
On one side of the pillow design (the side with the seam) add your logo/business name and contact details. On the other side, draw a line about 1cm inside the edges, and cut this out so you end up with a hole in the paper (when laminated, this will become your window). Laminate the whole sheet, and then cut out around the outside. Score along the folds and glue the seam with a plastic friendly glue.
If you were able to follow my somewhat jumbled explanation there, you now have customised windowed pillow display boxes for your products for less than 40c each. If not, let me know, as I would love to make a tute for this...actually, I may start working on this now

So no tute yet (I wanted to trial run this idea first) but here is a finished pic of what I came up with. I cheated for this one and used sticky tape instead of glue just to see how the shape holds (you can see this in the bottom of the display window) but this would not be in the final piece.
I will work on the tute over the next couple of days, and can post here if anyone is interetsed

Thanks for the idea.
I am from the UK, so some things can be hard to find or impossible.
I like the pillbox idea. I don't have access to a laminator, but I do have clear florist wrap (quite thick), and a glue gun. If you post your tutorial, i'll see if I can work it out.

I hope this works, I have never linked to another thread before
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=416567.msg4925570#msg4925570
I have created the tutorial for use without a laminator, but needed to substitute card stock for office paper for the strength.
Let me know if this makes sense to you, as it is 2:30am here, and Im not sure how clear some of the instructions may be. I eventually want to do a video tute for this, but until then...
