That is great! I had no idea such a book exists- would be able to get me the name of it- I'd love to check it out.  It's so true that I see the same types of art everything (and in every state) at thirft stores, etc. but didn't realize I was walking right past collectables!  I love learning new things

I just checked my book and that piece isn't one of the ones listed... Wish I could tell you the name -  regardless its a great score. I sound like John Waters in that episode of the Simpsons...

For anyone who geeks out on this kind of thing like I do - the book also goes into the sub-categories of the "big eyed" world of prints too - not limited to the ever present big eyed animals, sad clowns, and children/and/or animals dressed as big eyed sad clowns.... I can only imagine the haunted childhood of growing up in a bedroom decorated with these freaks. Love it. 

But don't concern yourself with bringing it on to antiques roadshow or anything. (I'm just a super geek.)
I can't wait to see what you end up doing with it!

don't feel odd shmee, i occaisonally go on ebay trawling for big-eyed pics to score! unfortuantely i don't think they were as big here in the uk

well, guys , I know a lot of us are done sending and receiving but a few of you are still in time range to get these out.... FINAL send out date is the 30th.  It will be okay if any of you are late if need be because I am giving jesslow and myself a different send out date since she was flaked on.  So, jesslow,  our own dates shall be 1st send out date    Sept. 1st
 the final send out date for finished picture shall be Sept.20th
 Does this souund okay to you? I don't mind helping out in any way so if these don't work for your time schedule then please let me know.

Jesslow I am sorry, but I need to extend our deadline and maybe pair you up with someone else not so close to the devastation in New Orleans...I am trying to ~adopt~ a family or help out with shelter and well pretty much anything I can do and I feel as if this is so much more important but you are too....Is there anyone to help volunteer to swap with jesslow since she was flaked on... I am desperate need to support my friends and community down here! Please jesslow and I NEED you! Not as much as the people in NEW ORLEANS does...so if anyone can help in any way PLEASE DO!
