Holly Elf on the Shelf

It's been a while since I've made a doll. I'd forgotten how fun it is!
Holly is my newest creation. She started as a baby earlier this year and I just didn't have any vision for the doll. I guess I just lost my muse.
A few days ago a friend of mine suggested an Elf on the Shelf challenge. And I was going to start from scratch. Until I saw the little naked, not quite finished doll. And then I knew what to do. I repositioned the legs to a sitting position, resewed the wonky ears, gave her some braids and some hair, and Holly was created!







She's just like my 4 year old daughter. She loves fluffy dresses, and showing off her bloomers. She'll fit right in!

Hm, I keep thinking I need to make my own elf on a shelf (my son is finally old enough this year to start doing this!)
