That's a really good idea TroubleT! I've been trying to keep track of everything on one piece of paper and triple check everything. Even after my husband leaves to take it to the post office, I'm second guessing myself. I'll have to try this next time Smiley Thanks for the great idea!

Patty, I have a system that could help you with that.

I don't like to write the addresses on the boxes because I want to be reusable so I write them on index cards and tape them so that they can be cut off later. Whenever I have multiple packages, I write out all of the addresses on index cards and on the back, I list the items in the package, not necessarily all but enough to recognize it. Then I match up the contents of the box with the correct card before taping it up. Smiley

I do something similar- but instead of writing it on index cards I write in on my portion of the dc slip along with the user name and attach it to the package-Like this

Name: Wonderful craftster (user name-superswapper)
address: 108 magical crafter lane (content -something amazing and wonderful)
creative, Allover the world 12345 (any other info I need to add)

Since I keep the DC slip I have a record of all the info I may need

according to the post office Bobbysgirl was delivered yesterday! I hope you like it

my very practical husband doesn't mind the crafting, but when i send him to the post office, the shipping charges catch him off guard. i have to be sure to show him when i recieve a package, and remind him of ____________ that he sent off, and now see this lovely_______!

the kids on the other hand, they don't want me sending anything away, they want to keep it for themselves, especially the hp items. either that or they can't keep their hands off. i dismantled a much read copy of socerers stone (the cover was off and we have 3 more) and they wanted to take my chapter illustrations! am i the only mom who gets a bit protective of their supplies?

hopefully i will be finishing mariak's ornament today, and hopefully i can finish for chrmisha tommorow.

I'm still crafting away! Still working on some ideas. I'm hoping to send early, but might just wait until the sendout date.

I'm alive!!!  I feel like I've been MIA during this extended holiday weekend.  I swear I've barely been home, and when I'm home, I'm crazy busy...cooking Thanksgiving feast, teaching (yes, even during the holiday, trying to build up some personal days), trying to carve time to craft, spending time with hubby who is on vacation this week, and planning next semester of HPC.  But now, fingers crossed, things are getting back into their regular groove which means more time for Craftster...YAY!  Now to catch up on threads & posts. I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

okey dokey, so my holiday went a little longer than I expected. It was good, though! Cheesy The only downside means that I will be sending Monday instead of sooner like I had hoped.

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was marvelous!
