I made this poppet for the Mini 13 days of Halloween swap. The challenge was to make it not to creepy because my partent rather is into cute things. I think I  failed on that.

The whole poppet

Bloomers!

I made the eyes myself by glueing wool fluff to white shank buttons

The headband. I can't believe that I forgot to make ears. Let's all believe the rotted off...

The socks (made out of a thin T-Shirt scrap) and the flats (made out of faux leather)

poseable fingers (by inserting twisted pipe pipe cleaners)

I hope my partner likes it
What do you guys think?

Not a huge zombie fan, but I love her her construction is very good and her hair what did you use for her hair. She is beautiful.

Definitely a bit creepy, but I actually don't think it is too much so (and I am not a gore person either). One could easily tell young children that Alice had been picking berries and overeating those (your fingertips really do turn interesting colors while picking as do lips, tongue, etc.). Your execution is great though and thanks for the information on the supplies and techniques used.

LOVE it!!! I think she is creepy-cute. Fabulous. I'd love to have a zombie Alice doll.  Great job!

If she doesn't like it, I would gladly take it off her hands.  Wink

She is wonderful and I think your partner will love her!

For the hair I split wool in its individual strands. It is really fluffy.
And I adapted that eye technique from a documentary about how to make glass eyes (they use acrylic fluff to make the little blood vessels)
