I thought someone was supposed to open like a week ago! I'm anxious to see what's been gotten, maybe add a little to my brain storming (it's more of a brain drizzle right now).

I was totally planning to wait until Christmas to open mine.

I guess my plan was to post pictures of the filled stocking when I open the box and then wait. I will of course let my partner/you know and post pictures after.

I hadn't seen anything in the swap description and just assumed by the swap name...thanks for clarification!

We drove by a house today that was already all done up for Christmas.  The kids and I were like huh? They must be skipping Thanksgiving!

Here in Canada our Thanksgiving is long over and now that halloween is done we are starting to see houses with lights on - far too early in my opinion!

Hello folks!!!  So excited that I get to be the first to receive and post for this swap!  (For those wondering what took so long a piece of the package was mischievousness and hid on dfabbric when she packed up the rest.  It was subdued and sent along a bit later and really CanPost really dragged it's heels getting it here.)  But anyways...

I couldn't wait til Christmas to open it, and now I'm really glad I didn't, plus I wanted to put my stocking up as early as possible. 

Here is everything all together.

The AWESOME stocking!





It's modeled after Link from the Zelda franchise.  The front is his tunic and the back is his shield and sword.  So cool!







She also sent along a pot holder made of epic Zelda fabric and and embroidered Link from my favourite game "The Wind Waker".  As well there is a nice embroidered tea towel in the same style.



The third item that she made for me is this nice bracelet with a triforce on one side and the Hylian crest on the other.

You can also see from the first picture that she sent me some of the same fabric that the pot holder is made of, some nice fleece Superman fabric, and sweet decals of the Hylian crest that I have yet to decide what item I posses that is worthy of such greatness.

Super happy with this swap and very envious that my partner was able to send out so early.  Now back to work on hers to make it equally as awesome!
