My mom asked me for a Giving Tree for the kindergarten class at her school. The teachers wanted a tree that they could pin cards with supplies written on them for the parents to take and buy. They needed it about four feet tall, with clothes pins for branches...and in two days.

I started with a curtain rod set in a bucket of plaster. I used dowel rods, clothes pins, Rigid Wrap plaster strips, foil, polymer clay, brown paint and dollar store leaves.












Every step was more exciting than the last for this project. Every time it looked more like a tree I fell in love! This project was incredibly satisfying. Smiley
