Child Beauty Pageant Contestant

Each year I head to Detroit for this awesome Halloween costume.  This year, I decided to go as a child beauty pageant contestant -- think Toddlers and Tiaras, not Honey Boo Boo.  I made everything but the shoes, the wig and the crown.  The outfit are separates.  The top is encrusted with rhinestones.  The bottom is organza over tulle with an elastic waist.  The socks are just white socks that I stitched white lace onto.

This is one of the funniest costumes ever!  But, you do look adorable as well!

You have the crown, the big hair, the bling, the cute socks...just so clever!

(I shamedly watch that show...but only if I am knitting or doing something else... )
