I recently (well, not-so-recently now - I'm 23 weeks pregnant!) found out that I'm expecting a little human this February. I was a little apprehensive about everything, considering that I've miscarried once before, so at about 14 weeks I decided to make some things for the baby to help me feel more attached. I wanted to make something that I could give to my baby, so I found myself trying to make stuffed animals for the first time using some old t-shirts & an old pillow.

First I cut out the the print on the front of the t-shirts & matching piece from the back of the t-shirts.

Then I sewed the two pieces together, right sides in, leaving a small opening at the bottom. Flipped the print right sides out through the opening, stuffed it full of pieces of old pillow & then carefully sewed the opening shut. Ta-da! I was pretty happy with how my experiment turned out.

I made a one-eyed purple people eater teddy too!

Those are really cute!

But if the time-locks broken, then everything is coming through, not just the Daleks, but the Skaro Degradations, the Horde of Travesties, the Nightmare Child, the Could-Have-Been king with his army of meanwhile and never-weres, the war turning to hell.  ~The Doctor

These are adorable! I love that they are so soft and smooshy looking, plus they don't have any parts like eyes or noses that can come off and pose choking hazard. Really good idea! Congratulations on your little human growing project Smiley I'm sorry for your loss and heartbreak. Best of joy and love to you while you continue to bond with your baby.

What a great idea!!  Cheesy

All we have to decide is what to craft with the time that is given to us.

Definitely adorable, and they look so cuddly! I don't have any babies in my life right now, but I do have a Chococat t-shirt that I've outgrown and it needs a new life as something else. This may be just the thing.
