Advent calender swap?

I was looking and was inspired by something I saw over on the Stampington site in one of their upcoming magazines - a mixed media advent calender that was made with little lidded tins.  I thought that was cute and wondered if anyone was interested in a swap around that idea.  We could make advent calenders for each other that could be reused each year, and put something small in them, like a mint, an ATC, a lipgloss or something.  Also, if people don't want to commit to a 25 day advent calender, we could do a truncated 12 days of Christmas/holidays advent calender.

I may still do one for myself anyways, but make the calender from tins and turn the tins into ornaments to be hung on the tree.

Oooooh - I see you started in the Summer - that would have been good for the long crafting period - unfortunately the desire and the muse struck me now!

Yeah you probably want to get going with it like now! Or maybe change the rules a bit so there is less to craft or send?

EEEEK! Been waiting all year for this kind of swap!! I saw the gallery last year and decided I HAVE to be part of one this year! I'm so in Oxy---no matter how many days or what we craft

We need an advent calender. We were just talking about this today with my in-laws. Let's do it! Sure it's a short crafting time but as long as the fillers can be store bought I think I would be OK with it.

Ooooooooh - I was thinking of putting it off until next late summer now - so that people won't feel too rushed.  I am totally getting into your Pinterest swap too!
