Hello everyone. I am trying to buy a kiln for my boyfriend for Christmas but I don't know much on the topic! I posted a "wanted" ad on Craigslist and got a reply from someone and this is what he said-
"I have a good used kiln for sale. It is a Duncan energy saver
Artist Plus model.I am asking $225 for it."

Are there any questions I should make sure I ask him? I am going to ask for the dimensions. I found a kiln of the same brand online for $200 and the dimensions for it are dia. 10", depth: 12". I would assume that is too small for what my boyfriend needs but is this the size I should expect for the price range of $200-$300? Sorry for my lack of knowledge here! Any tips and advice would be great, thanks!

I would ask what the dimensions are, also ask if it comes with the controller and kiln furniture. Also ask him if its ever been serviced or had its elements replaced.

What kind of crafting does he plan to use it for?
