I could title all my posts the same way, seems like this is all I ever make!

Scored this kit, my kid is greatly enamoured of the new creature he helped to make.

Then the other kid wanted one but couldn't decided which she liked best and I am not good at following directions so sort of made this up as it went along (took about 6 hours but that's what I get for not doing what the book said).

And 2 basic sock monkeys with embroidered eyes and dbl stitched everything to make them safe for babies. Our neighbours took one and the other went to the landlord for new baby gifts. Cute!

What fun.  I especially like the first two.  What interesting takes on sock monkeys.

I've never in my life been a fan of sock monkeys, but I love that  first sock creature to pieces! Cheesy Why couldn't they have had fun sock monkey patterns like that when I was a kid?

Oath Keeper, that fellow has a series of stupid sock creature books that you might like. I've read them all, they're great! So interesting, so different from the norm (check out his site http://www.stupidcreatures.com/galleries/galleries.html). I really enjoy his take on the sock creatures. They make wonderful nostalgic gifts for adults too. The plain grey sock monkey in the blue tshirt was supposed to be a baby gift but the Mr of the lady giving the gift absconded with it, lol. He stole it away for his own, can you believe that? I had a nice laugh when I heard. Good thing she took a taggy blanket for that baby as well as Mr Sockerelle. At least she had one handmade thing to give!
