How to Crochet a Scalloped Edge Hair Scrunchie
Attach yarn to hair tie by working 1dc over hair band.
1st Round: Work 43dc over hair band, 1ss into 1st dc. [44dc] Be sure to work these foundation dc loosely.
2nd Round: Work 1ch, 1dc into join. *2dc into next st,, repeat from * ending with 1ss into 1st ch.
3rd Round: *Work 8ch, miss 3dc, 1dc into next dc. Repeat from * finishing with 1ss into vase of 1st 8ch.
4th Round: Work 3ch, 9tr into 8ch loop, *10tr into next 8ch loop. Repeat from* finishing with 1ss into top of 3ch.
5th Round: *Work 10ch, 1dc between shells. Repeat from * finishing with 1ss into base of 1st 10ch.
6th Round: Work 3ch, 11tr into 1st 10ch loop, *12tr into next 10ch loop. Repeat from * finishing with 1ss into top of 3ch. Fasten off.
Using a needle and thread, sew pearls between scallops.
