I saw this cool tulle christmas tree http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=332694.0 and it reminded me of this tree I saw on youtube.

The lady shows you how you can make a geo mesh tree using a tomato cage. Has anyone ever tried that before? Looks easy in the video. Sort of like using a wire wreath form but with a tomato cage instead. http://youtu.be/WvA1_sHveGo

Also, can anyone help me with adding a photo to my profile? I am new and discovered this site on Pinterest (LOVE!).

Just added a photo so you can see. I know it's not a great photo (just a screenshot from the video) but at least you can see it.

Welcome to Craftster and thanks for sharing the link!  I have not ever heard of this geo mesh product but it looks pretty nifty.  This year I acquired some green tomatoe cages that I thought would somehow make a neat Christmas tree Smiley

I read that geo mesh is another name for deco poly mesh and floral mesh.

I've never heard of geo mesh either until this year. I've seen it in person as a wreath and it's quite a large roll that you work with unless you buy geo mesh ribbon.

It's like a plastic netting, but has a nice neat weaved pattern, not just a net pattern, if you know what I mean.

I've made deco mesh trees with tomato cages. I also made them on styofoam. It's really easy to work with. I also made snowman
