i love the quilt art. i am envious of the talent...maybe i will be lucky enough in the future to develope some quilt art of my own.

my partner made me art that i could of placed on my wall or a window. but i put it on a piece of green paper and framed it so it lasts longer Smiley

Wings, I'm so happy that you like it!
And so glad that you "get" the shadowbox thing.  I wanted the reverse to be far less busy yet still interesting.
So in your vein of liking recycled/litter art:
water jug
phone book (yes they still make them) Wink
and handmade paper
OH, and cardboard

The black is actually scratchboard paper but the edges of the canvas are tape.
I loved trying to figure out how to put some verdigris into the painting.  My fav is the wave with the faux AND the penny with the real(that was achieved with some chemistry)!

I love the seasons interpretations, J! What a great idea.

The quilted fairy is lovely.

Thrifty, that Terrier piece is AMAZING! Really, just so cool. I wouldn't have been able to hang that in a place where you couldn't see both sides either!

I also added some butterflies to put on top of the tree, but those don't work so well under a frame.

This is my picture I took, it has the transfer paper on top of the vinyl.

Oh gosh Dfab! You never cease to astound me with your beautiful art!! The crochet butterflies were a nice textural touch. I hope frog princess can still use them somewhere ^^

And thrifty!!!! You're like---an art cannon! Who knew so much talent would explode from you!  Shocked I'm so impressed and equally proud that I got one of your fabulous pieces to hang on my walls (pics coming soon unless you wanna post them.) My phone camera is craptacular Tongue
